Garage Door Repairs and Servicing, Panel by Panel

Every part of your door has a job to do, and each one wears out differently. Below is our full range of garage door repairs and servicing — laid out the way the door itself is built, from the top rail down to the seal on the floor.

Garage Door Opener Repairs and Replacements

Chain, belt, and screw-drive openers that stall, reverse on their own, or stop responding to the remote. We diagnose the motor, gears, and logic board on-site, and repair most openers same-day. If a unit is beyond saving, we'll fit a quieter, more efficient replacement built for your door's weight and size.

Garage Door Spring Replacement

A broken torsion or extension spring is the most common reason a door suddenly feels impossibly heavy or won't budge at all. Springs are under serious tension, so this is a job we handle with the right winding bars and clamps — not a DIY fix. We match the new spring's wire size and length to your exact door.

Know More

Garage Door Cable Repairs

Frayed or snapped cables often show up alongside spring problems and are one of the top causes of a garage door not opening or closing evenly. We replace worn cables before they fail completely, and re-tension the system so the door lifts straight and square.

Know More

Garage Door Track Repairs and Roller Replacement

Bent tracks and worn-out rollers cause grinding, jumping, or a door that binds partway through its run. We realign or replace damaged track sections and swap out old steel rollers for smoother, quieter nylon ones — a small upgrade that makes a noticeable difference every single day.

Know More

Garage Door Sensor Repairs

If your door reverses for no reason, or the opener light just blinks and refuses to close, the safety sensors are usually out of alignment, dirty, or wired incorrectly. We recalibrate or replace them so the door closes reliably again, and so the safety reversal system actually protects your household.

Know More

Damaged Garage Door Panel Replacement

A dent from a reversing car, storm damage, or plain old rust doesn't have to mean a whole new door. Sectional doors are built in individual panels, so in most cases we can order and fit a matching replacement panel, restoring both the look and the structural strength of the door.

Know More

Weather Seal Replacement, Brush Seals & Insulation

Cracked bottom seals and gaps at the sides let in draughts, dust, leaves, and the odd curious mouse. We fit new garage door weather seal strips, side and top brush seals, and insulation panels that keep the garage noticeably warmer in winter and cooler in summer — and quieter, too.

Garage Door Not Opening or Closing? Emergency Diagnostics

A door stuck halfway or ignoring the remote entirely is stressful, especially if it's blocking your car in or leaving your home exposed. We treat these as priority call-outs, working through opener, spring, cable, track, and sensor checks in order until we find the cause and get you moving again.

Garage Door Repairs and Servicing, Explained

How quickly can you respond to a garage door that won't open or close?

Most call-outs for a garage door not opening or closing are seen the same day. Broken springs, cables, and sensor faults are the most common causes, and they’re usually fixed in a single visit.

Both. Most opener issues are repairable — worn gears, failing circuit boards, or misaligned sensors. We only recommend a full opener replacement when the motor itself has failed or the unit is beyond economical repair.

Once a year is a good rule of thumb. A full service covers spring tension, cable wear, track alignment, roller condition, sensor calibration, and weather seal condition, so small issues get caught before they turn into a breakdown.

In most cases, yes. Sectional garage doors are built from individual panels, so a dented or cracked section can usually be swapped out on its own rather than replacing the entire door.

Both. We fit new bottom seals, side and top brush seals, and insulated panels on doors that never had them, and we replace any of these once they’ve cracked, torn, or stopped sealing properly.
